Are you looking for easy crafts to do at home with the kids? Look no further! This craft is so cute, really simple, and won't have you rushing to the craft store to buy obscure and expensive supplies...chances are you already have everything you need at home!
If you've got a little one who loves all things under-the-sea, then this brightly coloured little fish will be the perfect thing to keep them entertained this summer.
What you'll need:
A paper plate
Pva glue
Paints (acrylics / poster paints)
Cupcake cases
Googly eye
Step 1. Take a paper plate and cut a triangle out of it, Paint your plate your desired colour. We went with a pretty bright yellow! (We know he looks a bit like pacman right now but stick with us...he'll be looking like a fish in no time!)
Steo 2. Use an eye sticker, a googlely eye, or draw on an eye if you don't have either of those in your craft kit.
Then fold 4 cupcake cases in half and start layering them like scales! Stick them in place with pva glue.
Step 3. Keep layering cupcake cases, using different colours to create beautiful patterns. If you don't have different coloured cupcake cases, you could always paint them, like we did!
Add another casesfolded into quarters as the tail. So cute!
Step 4. Add sequins to your beautiful fish...because you can never have too much sparkle in your day!
Enjoy your gorgeous new fishy friend :)
