We would love to welcome a new team member to support us at busy weekend and school holiday times plus some after school hours. You would be confident working with the public, happy and hard working. We would like someone to join us who enjoys working with adults and children and is a team player and works on own initiative. You will always be supported by other team members.

- Tea Rooms Supervisor, at the Craft House & Tea Rooms, Kings Walk,Winchester Centre
You will primarily be responsible for the day to day running of our Tea Rooms in Winchester. You will oversee and manage and support other team members within their roles to all work towards a smooth operation of an efficiently run, busy business. You will be responsible to develop and grow existing and new revenue streams with a passion to drive forward ideas, activities and events to increase footfall and sales. Within your responsible position there will be scope to develop your own ideas and initiatives, being fully supported.
Specifically, you will:
Lead on food preparation and ensure food hygiene standards are adhered to
Food preparation, cooking and presentation skills
Good up-to-date knowledge of food hygiene
A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (ideally Level 3)
Effectively co-ordinate members of the Tea Room and Craft team and support wherever is needed
Provide a welcoming environment to all customers and an exceptional standard of serving
Ensure that all kitchen, prep, toilets and customer-facing areas are kept clean, Covid safe and tidy
Previous experience in the food service industry, including preparation, serving and front of house
Customer service experience
Self Management of your time and others
Handle deliveries of stock
Stock orders and stock checks
Cashing up and till balancing
Keeping up maintenance of the business- keeping clean and fresh but also making sure electrical goods or furniture is fit for use
Complaint and accident handling
Ideally, you will also have experience of managing staff and overseeing
Jumping in and helping in any part of the business be it in the shop or craft side
